Your missionaries, on the map

An interactive world map at your own URL — app.fieldlinkmissions.com/yourchurch. Every active missionary is a pin. Click any pin for their full profile. The pictures on this page are live views of a real church's map; open it to explore.

Click any pin to see name, photo, family, location, organization, and bio
Church marker shows your logo, service times, contact info, and ministries list
Filter by organization or by who supports them, search by name, or browse the sidebar list
Prayer letters and video updates accessible right from the profile
Send missionaries a secure link to fill out their own profile, upload photos, prayer letters, and videos — all from one form
10 hand-crafted themes to choose from
Works on desktop, tablet, and mobile without any extra work
Maps built from OpenStreetMap data and served from our own servers — no third-party map services, no tracking, no usage limits
Zoom from the whole world down to town level — detailed enough to find a missionary, never so close it pinpoints a street address
Presentation mode · the real kiosk page, frozen on one slide

Your lobby TV, put to work

Turn any screen into a running missionary showcase, in minutes, without an IT visit. Two modes — touch-screen kiosk for interactive browsing, or presentation mode that cycles automatically on a regular TV.

Touch Mode — visitors tap pins, browse profiles, and read updates on a touch screen
Presentation Mode — auto-cycles through missionaries on any TV, no touch needed
Map on one side, missionary card on the other — fully configurable
Generate unlimited API keys — one per display location
Each key has its own theme, layout, and display mode settings
One campus, one screen — lock any display to the missionaries supported by a particular campus, partner church or giving circle. The lock is applied on the server, so the screen never receives the rest
Set up in minutes — flash our image onto a Raspberry Pi (about $180 for the whole kit, no PC to look after) or install one file on a Windows PC, then type the six-character code the screen shows into Field Link. No scripts, no configuration files, no IT
Wi‑Fi from your phone — a Raspberry Pi display with no network cable shows a QR code; scan it, pick the church Wi‑Fi, and the TV joins by itself
Looks after itself — updates overnight, re-links in seconds if a key changes, and shows a clear message instead of a broken page when the internet drops
QR code per slide, and a Continue on your device button on touch kiosks. Visitors scan to open that missionary's full profile on their phone. Switchable per display, and hidden automatically for kiosk-only missionaries
Missionary profiles

More than a name and a pin

Profiles with enough in them that your congregation can know, and pray for, the people they support.

Full Family ProfilesAdd spouses, children, and team members with names, roles, and birth years. Families display together on the profile and kiosk card.
Photos & GalleryUpload multiple photos per missionary. Tap Set as profile on any gallery photo, on a phone or a desktop, to use it as the profile photo on the map pin and popups, framing the crop yourself. Profile photos are optimised to 400×400 when set.
Prayer Letters & UpdatesAdd PDF or Word letters, video links or video files to each missionary's profile — or photograph the pages of a paper letter and let Field Link turn them into one clean PDF. Dates are optional; edit titles and descriptions any time. Your congregation reads the latest update right from the map.Media role can upload
Precise LocationGeocode any address worldwide to drop the pin in exactly the right place. Location display label, country, and field of service all visible on the profile.
Organization LinkingLink missionaries to IMB, Wycliffe, SIM, or any organization you add. The organization's logo and name appear in the missionary's profile popup on the map.
Supported ByDefine your own support sources — campuses, partner churches, giving circles — and tag each missionary with any number of them. The public map gets a Supported by filter the moment one is in use, the profile card shows who stands behind each family, and a kiosk or website embed can be limited to one or more sources.Admin sets up, Editor+ assigns
Self-Service Missionary FormsSend missionaries a secure link to fill out everything themselves — one form in two parts, laid out exactly like the admin editor: photos, city-based location with a map pin, organization picker, family, bio, support, then any number of prayer letters (PDF, Word, or photos of a paper letter) and videos. Invite creates a new record; Request Update pre-fills their existing data. Links are single-use and expire in 7 days.Editor+ creates
Short Description for KioskEach missionary has a full bio and a separate short description of 25 words or fewer, shown on the kiosk carousel. Keeps the display readable at a glance without truncating their full story.
Filter & SearchVisitors can filter the map by organization, by who supports a missionary (tick more than one), search by name, or scroll the sidebar list. The filters combine, and the map zooms to any missionary on click.Public — no login
The church card · opened from the church marker

Your church, front and center

Your church marker does more than mark a location. Click it for a full card with everything visitors need to know.

Name, pastor, logo, and description
Full address with geocoded map pin
Service times — formatted exactly as you enter them
Phone, email (tap-to-call on mobile), and website link — shown as plain text on kiosks, which never link out
Ministries list — add programs, groups, and outreach with emoji icons
Ministry descriptions shown as tooltips on hover

The right access for each person

Give your missions committee exactly what they need — no more, no less. Four roles, invite-only onboarding, two-factor authentication, and full audit logging.

Super AdminFull access — users, billing, kiosk, import/export, and all settings
AdminAll content, kiosk access, and audit log — no billing or user management
EditorAdd and edit missionaries (including invite links), orgs, and church info
MediaUpload photos, prayer letters, and video updates to existing missionaries
Security

Serious security, sized for a church

Two-factor sign-in, a full audit log and self-service credentials on every account, with nothing for your church to run.

Two-Factor AuthenticationEvery user can enable 2FA — either a TOTP authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy) or a one-time code sent by email. Eight one-time recovery codes are generated at enrollment. Check "Remember Me" to skip 2FA for 7 days on trusted devices.
One Login for Every ChurchOne account per person. The same email and password work at every church you help with, you pick the church after signing in, and a password change or reset covers all of them at once. Five wrong passwords lock the account for 15 minutes, and a reset lifts the lock. All users
Full Audit LogEvery action in the admin panel is logged — who added, edited, or deleted what, and when. Filter by resource type and export for review.Admin & above
Self-Service CredentialsUsers manage their own passwords and 2FA. Admins never handle credentials directly — reducing risk and support burden. Recovery codes and password reset are all self-service.All users
Invite-Only User ManagementNew users are added exclusively through secure email invites. No admin-set passwords, no temporary credentials to share. Users create their own password or connect Google from a 7-day setup link.Super Admin only
Closed-Country PrivacyMissionaries can be shown on the lobby kiosk but completely hidden from the public web map. No QR code is generated, no public profile exists, and the API returns nothing — even if someone knows their ID.Per-missionary setting
Sign In with GoogleUsers can sign in with their Google account instead of a password. Email must match an existing invited user — no auto-creation. Multi-church users pick their church once Google has verified them.
Secure Setup LinksNo more emailing temporary passwords. Invited users receive a secure 7-day setup link where they create their own password or connect their Google account.

Theme: Midnight Gold

Looks like your church, not like software

Your map should look like it belongs to your church, not like off-the-shelf software. Ten designed themes, and the map tiles follow the palette too.

10 hand-crafted themes — Midnight Gold, Slate & Crimson, Forest Light, Ocean Deep, Classic & Refined, Royal Purple, Ember, Arctic, Rose Gold, and Monochrome
Kiosk displays can have their own per-key theme, independent of the public map
Carousel overlay opacity control — dial in exactly how visible the map is behind the card
Map colours match the theme — land, water, roads and labels are tinted from each theme's palette, so the map never looks like a widget dropped into your page
Website embed — a responsive snippet that fits any screen, or a fixed size if your layout needs one, with an optional theme override, and the option to show only the missionaries a particular campus supports
Church logo appears in the header, kiosk display, and church popup

The details that matter day to day

The features that don't make the headline but earn their keep.

Import & ExportBulk-import missionaries from CSV. Export your full dataset as JSON or a ZIP with all media included — missionaries, organizations, church info, photos, prayer letters, and videos all in one download. Upload that ZIP again later and everything, media included, comes back.
Billing You ControlEvery plan includes 5 GB of storage; add more in fixed steps whenever you need it. Switch between monthly and annual, add storage, cancel, and download invoices right from your Subscription page — no portal hunting. The rate you sign up at stays with your church, and if you subscribe during the trial, your remaining days carry over.
Support TicketsSubmit support requests right from the admin panel. No email hunting — just describe the issue and it goes straight to the right people.
Feature RequestsRequest new features directly from the admin panel. Every request is read personally and tracked. Requests marked Upcoming are planned for a future release.
Live DashboardMissionary count, countries reached, organizations, and total prayer letter updates, visible the moment you log in.
GeocoderType any city or address and auto-geocode it. No need to look up coordinates manually — the pin drops in the right place automatically.
Invite & Request Update LinksOne link, one form — missionaries fill out their full profile, upload photos and choose which is their profile picture, drop their city pin on a map, select or add their sending organization, mark themselves as serving in a sensitive country, and attach as many prayer letters and videos as they like, even by photographing a paper letter. A review checklist shows what is still missing before they submit. New missionaries get a welcome email; existing ones get an update request.Editor+
Resend Invite LinksIf a user's setup link expires or they never completed setup, Super Admins can resend a fresh invite with one click. The old link is automatically invalidated and a new 7-day link is emailed.
Email PreferencesEvery user can choose whether to receive product update emails (on by default). Critical service notifications always reach your church's administrators regardless of preference.
Hosted for YouEverything runs in a professional data center with your photos, letters and videos stored safely in more than one place; there is nothing for your church to install, maintain or back up.
Updates Without SurprisesImprovements ship regularly, and each rollout takes under a minute. If a visitor lands on the map during that window they see a friendly "updating" page that reloads on its own the moment the site is back — never a broken page or a browser error.
Backups You Can HoldYour data and media are backed up automatically every hour, with restore points kept for a full year — a deleted photo or missionary can be brought back as it was on any given hour. And you can download a complete export of your own church's data and media at any time from Settings → Import & Export. Your data is never locked in.

Know who's looking, and from where

See exactly how your congregation engages with your missionaries — without cookies, third-party scripts, or privacy concerns.

  • Source tracking — every view is tagged as Web Map, Embed, Kiosk, or QR Code so you know which channels drive engagement.
  • Missionary rankings — see which missionaries get the most views, with unique visitor counts and per-source breakdowns.
  • Weekly email reports — every Saturday, admins receive a styled summary of the past week's activity. Send one manually anytime from the Analytics page to any admin on your church's account.
  • Email preferences — each admin can opt in or out of weekly reports in their Email Preferences menu.
  • Bot filtering — crawlers, scrapers, and monitoring bots are automatically excluded so your numbers reflect real people.
  • Per-kiosk breakdown — if you run multiple kiosks, see which one drives the most views so you know where to place them.
  • Zero data shown — cards and charts with no activity simply don't appear. No clutter, no empty graphs.

That line of HTML, on a page
QR code that opens the Bushey Family's profile on the Calvary Baptist Church map

A real code: scan it with your phone and the Bushey Family's profile opens on the church's map, exactly as it would from a bulletin or a prayer card.

Wherever your congregation already looks

Your map isn't just a standalone page — put it wherever your people already look.

  • Embed on your website — copy one line of HTML and the full interactive map appears on any page. It resizes to fit phones and desktops, and scroll protection keeps it from hijacking the page: hold Ctrl (⌘ on Mac) to zoom, two fingers on touch.
  • QR code access — generate codes that link to your map or individual profiles. Perfect for bulletins, lobby posters, and prayer cards.
  • Separate tracking — embed views and QR scans are tracked independently from your main web map so you see exactly which channels work.
  • Mobile-first — the map is fully responsive. Missionary profiles open as full-screen cards on phones with a clean X to close.
