Why we built this
Missionaries give up stability, comfort, and proximity to family to go where God calls them. They send prayer letters into the void and trust that someone on the other end is praying. Too often, the church back home barely knows their names.
That's not a people problem. It's a tools problem. The options that exist either require a web developer to set up, cost more than a small church can justify, or are so clunky that the one volunteer trying to maintain them eventually gives up. The missions page goes stale. The kiosk screen gets turned off. The congregation loses the connection.
Field Link Missions was built to solve exactly this. Not adapted from generic software, not bolted together from pieces that weren't designed to work together. Built from the ground up for church missions programs, by someone who saw the problem firsthand and couldn't find a good answer anywhere.
When a congregation can see a missionary family's faces on a map, read their latest letter, and know where they are serving, they pray for them by name and give with a face in mind.
That is what this is for: a tool any church can run, so every missionary your church supports is known by name.
