Field Link Missions ("we", "our", or "us") operates fieldlinkmissions.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. We are committed to protecting the privacy of the churches and individuals who use our platform.
Account Information — When you sign up, we collect your church name, contact name, email address, phone number, and church details. This is used to create and manage your account.
Missionary Data — Information you enter about missionaries (names, locations, photos, prayer letters, bios, and other content) is stored on our servers on your behalf. You own this data. We store it solely to provide the Service to you.
Usage Data — We may collect basic usage data such as page views, feature interactions, and error logs to improve the Service. This data is aggregated and not linked to individual users.
Payment Information — Billing is processed by Stripe. We never store your credit card number or billing details on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of payment information.
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
We understand that some missionaries serve in contexts where their identity and location are sensitive. The platform includes built-in protections — such as the ability to hide missionaries from the public map entirely — but you are responsible for configuring these settings appropriately for each individual.
We strongly encourage you not to store identifying information about missionaries in sensitive or restricted-access countries beyond what is necessary. Use the closed-country visibility controls provided in the platform.
Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. However, no system is completely immune to security risks, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We recommend enabling two-factor authentication for all admin accounts and using strong, unique passwords.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information with:
Missionary profiles that are marked as visible on the public web map are accessible to anyone with your church's map URL — no login is required to view them. You control which missionaries appear publicly through the visibility settings on each missionary record.
Missionaries marked as hidden from the web map are never included in any public response from our servers, regardless of how the request is made.
Your data remains on our servers as long as your account is active. Upon cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, giving you time to export it using the built-in export tools. You may request immediate deletion by contacting us.
You can export your full dataset at any time from Settings → Import & Export.
We use session cookies to keep you logged in to the admin panel. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. The public map may use browser local storage to cache map tiles for performance — this data stays on the visitor's device and is not transmitted to us.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. You can update most information directly through the admin panel. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us at [email protected].
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify account holders of material changes by email or through a notice in the admin panel. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
